Audience-powered gameplay

Watch, participate, change what happens.

CrowdPlay (formerly iLG) turns a livestream into an interactive experience. Viewers send commands through chat; a backend interprets and aggregates the audience’s choices; Unity updates the game, which is broadcast back to the audience.

An earlier 24-hour YouTube proof of concept tested the ingestion → Unity → OBS → streaming loop. It does not establish current public service availability or production-scale performance.

Gameplay features and directions

Designed around participation

Chat-driven actions

Audience commands can affect shared battles and physics-driven simulations, subject to game rules.

Demonstrated concept

Team-based challenges

Viewers can participate in opposing teams, with mechanics designed to accommodate a broad audience.

MVP game direction

Timed decisions

Short interaction windows combine many individual inputs into a single meaningful gameplay update.

Planned game mechanic

Unity simulation

A real-time Unity game renders audience choices into a visual world suitable for broadcast.

Proof of concept

Automated interpretation

A command-processing service supports chat parsing and future AI-assisted fallback for natural-language input.

Architecture direction

Rotating game formats
